Chapter 53 Life on the Moon

Sara did have a good Christmas break, as a matter of fact. She got an awesome new lap top, even though she didn't know how to use it.
At least she actually could use her iPod from Easter.
One day, she called the Apple company for help with her new computer.
“Hello. You've reached the Apple company, where all technology tastes sweet. Justin Tinkleheart speaking,” a voice answered.
Sara giggled.
Tinkleheart.
“Um oh hay. I need someone to teach me about my lap top. It's very... unpredictable.”
“Um, boqay.”
Sara scheduled an appointment to see Justin with her computer in 2 weeks. She would also ask Vicky if she wanted to go, just to make up for being a whiny mess.

“No,” Vicky growled.
It was now mid-January. Christmas break had ended a couple days ago.
“Why?!” Sara asked.
“One, I'm still mad at you. Two, the store is called 'Apple'! That ring a bell with you?”
Sara was silent.
“Seriously!” Vicky cried, and left.

Later, Sara formed a plan. She was going to walk straight up to Dante, and confess her true feelings.
She walked the halls confidently, searching for him.
Him and Maria were found in the library. Sara stopped walking a couple feet away, so they couldn't see her.
“Seriously, can you like not stare at me while I work?” Maria asked Dante angrily.
“But it's sooo tantalizing,” Dante sighed.
Angrily, Maria stuffed her books into her bag and left.
In an attempt for escape, Sara casually walked towards the exit.
Dante saw her.
He caught up to her in the hallway, and slung his arm around her shoulders.
“OH hay,” she said, pretending to be surprised.
“It's tough,” Dante said, watching Maria's retreating figure down the hallway. “Loving someone who doesn't love you back.”
“Yeah,” Sara replied, brushing his arm off her shoulder. “I can't imagine the feeling.”
She quickly hurried back to her dorm, so Dante wouldn't see her crying.
Why did everything always fail for her? She felt so detached from everyone else's world, like she lived in a world of her own. A world with almost no oxygen to live off of. A world where she was just floating around in her own atmosphere.
It was like she lived on a moon, and she wasn't sure how much more of it she could take.
