Chapter 54 Hello Gubgub!

Logan entered Lukas's and Shanaynay's dorm for a quick visit.
“Oh hay,” Lukas said.
“Hay,” Shaynaynay said.
“Hay,” Logan said.
He looked at their coffee table. The goldfish wasn't there.
“Where's Gubgub?” Logan asked.
“In the bathtub,” Lukas replied.
“Come look,” Shanaynay said, hopping off the couch and skipping over to the bathroom.
Logan followed silently.
She led Logan and Lukas to the bathroom.. Logan walked over to the bathtub.
Inside was a 7 foot long goldfish, with perfectly straightened hair flowing out of its head and in the water. Its fins were massive, and the entire fish had to weigh at least 175 pounds.
Logan turned back to Lukas and Shanaynay, who were grinning eagerly at him.
“Lukas,” Loga said very slowly. “Shanaynay.”
“Yes?” Lukas and Shanaynay giggled.
“When did Gubgub grow up so big?”
“Um you remember the time where we went to the car wash and never came back to the school? 'Member, you 'member, 'member?” Lukas asked.
“Yes...,” Logan replied cautiously.
“We were actually evacuating Gubgub out of the school, because, well, the with lady cursed him,” Shanaynay explained.
The 2 launched into an epic story about their close encounter with the witch lady. It turns out that while Logan was in Gargillya's hut, the 2 were off on their own intense adventure.
“Ohh! How'd you escape the demon parakeet?” Logan asked eagerly.
“With the help of some girl named Miss Nana. You might know her.”
Logan slowly turned around. Miss Nana was sitting on their toilet tank, listening to her Pod and leafing through a magazine.
She glanced up.

Logan blinked in response, and turned back to Lukas and Shanaynay.
“You know, I always did wonder where she went after she saved us,” he said. “I just never thought she would live on your guys's toilet.”
“She'll do anything for fans,” Shanaynay said.
“She'd even suck the poison out of Gubgub's mouth,” Lukas said.
