Chapter 75 Playdate

Vicky put on beautiful blue lipstick, which complimented her fluffy ponytail.
It was the March/April break. The school year was coming to a close, and Vicky had 3 new friends. Life was awesome!
Vicky put on huge, red plastic earrings.
“Can I come PLEASE?” Sonya moaned from the doorway.
“No! The 4 of us are going to be doing some pretty adult stuff,” Vicky instantly lied.
“You're going to McDonalds and the llama freakin' petting zoo,” Sonya contradicted.
“You contradict me!” Vicky gasped.
“If you don't let me go, I'll speak word of your third greatest fear around people who know you!” Sonya threatened.
“WTF!” Vicky shouted.
“Bring. Me,” Sonya murmured just so Vicky could hear.
“Boqay persuasive!” Vicky said.
Sonya danced wildly with triumph.

Maria, Logan, and Conrad carefully sat down on one side of the table. Vicky and Sonya were on the other.
“I can't wait until we meet Mariposa, the new-born llama!” Sonya giggled.
“Yeah. I bet its fur is fluffy like Vicky's hair,” Logan said.
“I'm SO glad to be here,” Vicky said, clearly delighted. “WAAAAITER!!”
“Vicky we go up to order!” Conrad said.
“Blood pressure,” Sonya gently reminded her sister, patting her shoulder softly.
Maria then ordered 5 Happy Meals.
“Omg I got Mariposa!” Sonya exclaimed, pulling a miniature llama toy out of her bag.
“I got Allison Iraheta's birth certificate!” Conrad shouted.
“DSi!” Logan cried.
“Wth a freakin' used wig,” Maria muttered.
Logan opened the bag.
“Wow. 7 french fries and a bathroom cup of lemonade...,” he said.
When Vicky and Sonya finished eating 45 minutes later, they got up and walked to Karl Buckyman's Llama Petting Zoo of Fate.
“MARIPOSA!” Sonya screamed, running off deep into the zoo. Vicky sprinted after her.
“For the greater good,” Maria said.
“Huh?” Logan asked.
“She's right. This is for the greater good,” Conrad said, as Mariposa attacked Sonya in the background, and Vicky screamed horribly.
“SOMEONE SHOULD CALL 911!” Vicky screamed, jumping up and down. Sonya accidentally dropped her toy Mariposa onto the ground, which the real Mariposa violently devoured.
The pod jogged up silently. Sonya was laying limply on the ground, and Mariposa was attacking other tourists. Foam dripped from its mouth.
“IT HAS RABIES!” someone screamed.
An employee raced out, shooting Mariposa with a dart.
It immediately collapsed.
Vicky sprinted over to Sonya, who by now had passed out.
“Oh my God,” she whispered, feeling for a pulse.
“Am... am I in Heavan?” Sonya asked weakly. In the background, Mariposa's limp figure was being dragged away.
“How did this wild fight start?” Logan asked.
“Well... Mariposa spit in my face like llamas tend to do, but I got mad and slapped its face twice, and then it just... got all up in everyone's face,” Sonya recounted.
“That's interesting,” Maria noted.
“Yeah. Um, can we go home, I'm feeling kind of...”
Sonya passed out again.

Maria, Logan, Conrad, and Vicky lifted Sonya and carried her home.
“I'm really sorry about this,” Vicky apologized yet again at the doorstep. “Really REALLY sorry. Sonya's of a queasy heart. She gets nervous around llamas, especially famous ones. Sorry this playdate didn't turn out like you wanted it to - “
“It's OK!” Logan screamed.
“It's SO OK!” Conrad added.
“Please stop apologizing!” Maria pleaded desperately.
“See you next Tuesday when school starts!” Vicky said.
“It starts Monday,” Logan corrected.
Vicky slammed the door shut.
“MOTHER!” Vicky screamed up the staircase. “Sonya needs the llama medicine!”
“AGAIN?!” her mom called back.
