Chapter 55 But I'm Innocent!

Maria was disgusted with Dante.
He was a PIG! One time, she found him in her hamper in her own private bathroom.
Another time, she found him going through her dresser drawers and sniffing her pants when she woke up.
It was all seriously annoying.
On the first Friday of their return, the pod was studying the formation of Supul in Noriega's class when Dante entered.
“What a twisted goblin,” Maria cried, and sunk underneath her desk.
“Hello,” Noriega said to Dante.
“HI,” Dante said. “Perelli sent me. Can I um interview some of your students about Supul?”
“Make yourself at home,” Noriega smiled.
Of course, Dante went straight for Maria's desk first.
She cursed.
“Hay interview,” Dante said.
“Oh boqay,” Maria growled through her teeth, and got out from under the desk.
“What's your favorite type of cologne?”
“Um I like the distinct smell of Palm Tree Coconut Hustle,” Kristen replied instantly.
Maria, Conrad, Logan, and Dante turned to stare at her.
“How long were you... here?” Logan asked.
Maria turned to Dante.
“Why do you ask my favorite cologne?”
“Cuz I wanna know what to wear on our first date,” Dante grinned.
Maria grabbed her heavy textbook and started to violently slap Dante's face with it. Noriega, Conrad, Logan, and Kristen tried to calm her down, but she smacked them all away.

Later, when Maria had cooled down, she headed back to her dorm.
She entered.
The first thing she noticed was Sara sitting on her bed, making a slashing motion over her neck as though trying to warn Maria of something.
The next thing Maria noticed was Dante stepping out to face her from behind a trash can.
“OH MY GOD!!” Maria screamed, and tried to leave. Dante stopped her.
“Back off,” Maria growled. She kicked his shin violently.
“HAY!” Sara cried, getting off her bed. “Leave him alone.”
“Make me, sister,” Maria challenged, poking Dante's eye with a pencil.
Sara stepped towards Maria.
“Maybe I will,” Sara said, cracking her neck.
Maria straightened up.
“You're not serious?” she asked nervously, abandoning Dante and stepping back a few feet.
“I can't believe he likes YOU, the aggressive girl who beats him, instead of me, the... gentle one!” Sara cried.
“What are you going on about?” Maria demanded.
“Get retty for pain, sister. That's what I'm bringing.”

Conrad and Logan were just heading back to their dorms when they heard a crash.
“OH what was that?” Conrad asked.
Vicky raced up to them, screaming.
“Death in my abode!” she gasped.
“What?!” Logan cried.
“There's a fight in my dorm! Come quickly!” Vicky cried.
Conrad and Logan nervously followed Vicky through a thick crowd of people, to her dorm.
Maria and Sara, both in their Supul forms, were fighting violently. Maria was zooming around the air in her flying contraption.
“But I'm innocent!” her hand screamed.
Sara, meanwhile, remained on the ground. Waves of water crashed around her, and she was trying to slap Maria out of the air.
“Sara controls water?!” Conrad cried.
“Oh, CRAP!” Logan screamed.
Vicky grabbed Conrad's collar.
“No,” she whispered, and then screamed,” NOT WATER! THAT'S... TEARS!”
“I'll stop them!” Logan cried, racing forward.
Conrad and Vicky watched intensely.
A couple seconds later, Logan blasted by, screaming as a miniriver carried him down a staircase in the background.
A couple seconds later, the screaming stopped.
Vicky turned to Conrad.
“Boqay,” she said. “Well, that solved NOTHING!”
“Catch me if you can!” Supul Maria cackled to Sara.
“I WILL!” Supul Sara screamed.
Maria curved around in the air, just out of Sara's reach. Sara growled.
“You is A-GONNA PAY!” Sara screamed.
Logan reached Conrad and Vicky again, soaking wet.
“Um the bottom floor is flooding,” he said.
“WHAT?!”
Conrad and Vicky looked to the staircase. It was submerged in tears. Out the window, hundreds of students could be seen evacuating the school.
“Oh this poses as an issue,” Conrad smiled.
“HELP!” Alex screamed.
“We're trapped,” Ashley gasped with realization.
“How are we going to get out??” Vicky cried.
“There's no exit!” George exclaimed.
“We've got to calm her down. Our lives are on the line,” Vicky said to Conrad and Logan.
“MARIA!” Conrad shouted. “STOP TORMENTING HER! IT'S A LIFE/DEATH SITUATION, GF!”
But Maria didn't hear. She zoomed around, just above their heads.
“Oh no,” Vicky whispered.
“SARA!” Logan yelled. “Please stop. You're crying too hard! It's killing people andGRAH!”
Sara launched a giant tear into his face. He toppled backwards, slipping down an escalator.
In the background, Dante crawled into sight, his face soaked.
“SARA! I'M GONNA DROWN!” he screamed.
All of the tears froze.
“Really?” Sara asked Dante.
“UM yes,” Dante answered.
“OH god,” Sara whispered. As she spoke, tears began to dry up and fly to the sun, and Logan swam back into sight again.
Maria flew by, cackling evilly.
Sara grabbed her with her teeth.
“Cool it, sister,” she said. “We have a lot of tears to lick up.”
