Chapter 58 The Weirdest Duo Ever Seen

On Monday, the pod met in science class. Today, they were taking the Supul unit test. Tomorrow, they were going to move on to the second unit, Supul combined with other diseases and their results.
Later, they went to lunch. The pod, Alex, Ashley, Vito, George, Kristen, Vicky, Miss Nana, and Sara shared a table.
Today, Vicky was late.
“Drat, she owes me money and she's not here,” Conrad thought.
Conrad tapped on Sara's shoulder.
“Um,” Conrad said,”I know that I hardly even talk to you, but I was wondering if you would by any chance know where Vicky is.”
Sara shrugged.
“Oh there she is,” Logan said, looking to the doors.
Vicky entered the doors in slow-motion, wind blowing her ponytail behind her. Her face was completely covered in makeup.
By her side was Katie Dibble, with about 45 posse girls from her usual posse following them.
“So anyway thanks for redesigning my face,” Vicky was saying to Katie.
“No prob, bff,” Katie replied.
Conrad, Maria, and Logan stared ahead with their mouths hanging open slightly.
“Let's sit here,” Vicky said. She sat down in her normal seat, bringing over one extra for Katie.
The 45 posse girls looked around. There were no seats for them. They seemed quite stranded without Katie, their leader.
“Sorry, girls. See you in PE,” Katie said.
The lead posse girl grunted in frustration. She seized Logan's chair, dumped him to the floor, and sat down.
There was complete silence as Logan began to cry, the remaining posse girls processed the information, and everyone at the table stared ahead.
In around 10 seconds, the posse girls attacked, dumping everyone to the floor and stealing their seats.
Vito grabbed his chair and went to slam it into his posse girl's head. She leaped at the chair, smashing it, George, and Vito into the ground.
Alex tried to flee. A posse girl grabbed his ankles and drug him into the darkness.
The last one grabbed Kristen's wheelchair. Kristen's eyes grew wide.
“Wait you're not gonnaWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
Everyone watched Kristen plow her way across the cafeteria, screaming.
“HAY what gives?!” Maria demanded from the floor.
“Sorry!” Vicky and Katie exclaimed.
The pod gasped. Katie had apologized!
“They need Katie to guide them,” Vicky whispered, pointing to the posse girls.
“Really sorry,” Katie repeated.
Everyone got up and left. Lunch was over.
“Since when were VICKY and KATIE friends?!” Conrad whispered to Logan and Maria.
“It goes against all past evidence!” Logan cried.
“Yeah oh my God it's mindblowing,” Maria agreed.
Sara caught up to them.
“It was so weird,” she told them. “On Friday morning, she WAS acting a little weird, but she still resented Katie. After class was over, they were best friends! Its all she was talking about!”
Conrad turned to Maria.
“Maria, you share a dorm with them! Why didn't you know about this before?? We could have been prepared!”
Maria shrugged.
“I'm usually off in my own little world. I like to call it MariaLand,” she explained.
